1-Wire iButton Driver ID

The standard 1-Wire Driver Identification systems involve the iButton reader and iButton Key FOBs. 

For these applications a key FOB is issued to each driver, and can be read by the iButton reader through the 1-Wire interface. Heitech Offers the iButton Reader HTA-002 and the iButton Key FOBs HTA-001


1-Wire RFID Driver ID

HeitechCS has developed a 1-Wire conversion cable that allows RFID readers to be connected directly to the 1-Wire line. The solution features: 

  • Converts vehicle power to provide the correct DC voltage for the RFID reader
  • Enable line that allows the RFID reader to be powered down to prevent battery drainage
  • 1-Wire interface conversion to utilize existing 1-Wire Driver ID features

The HTD-008 will convert the output of Wiegand RFID readers to integrate with the 1-Wire interface (view the link for the list of supported readers we currently carry). 

Serial RFID Driver ID

The Serial RFID solution has two options of either UART or RS232 serial communication, that allow RFID readers to be connected to a devices serial line. The serial readers offer: 

  • Converts vehicle power to provide the correct DC voltage for the RFID reader
  • Enable line that allows the RFID reader to be powered down to prevent battery drainage
  • Serial interface that allows pass-through of RFID tag ID to the platform 

For RS232:

  • HTD-010: will output RS232 data for the Wiegand RFID readers (view link for list of supported readers)

For UART:

  • HTD-009: will output UART data for the Wiegand RFID readers (view link for list of supported readers
